03月31日:I have to prod Edward into paying me what he owes.我得提醒爱德华把他借的钱还给我。
sb into doing sth.:提醒,劝说某人做某事
例如:Have you ever found yourself making a purchase as a way to try to prod yourself into taking a certain action? (你有没有买某一件东西来作为督促自己做出某一个特定行为的方法?)
He needs a crisis to prod him into action.(他要事到临头才被迫采取行动。)
