02月11日：I hope you'll give the nod to the plan.我希望你会同意这个计划。    

：v.&n. 点头；打盹
例如： Jacques tasted one and nodded his approval.（雅克尝了一个，点头称好。）
           His nod betokened acceptance.（他点头表示接受。）

02月12日：She is feeling no better this morning.她今天早晨还是不见好。  

：v. 感觉；认为；有知觉；摸索
例如：She lives in a free country, but she does not feel free.（她生活在自由的国家，但却感觉不到自由。）
          I don't feel that I deserve you, but I love you.（我并不认为我配得上你，但是我爱你。）

02月13日：The poem has been set to music.这首诗被谱了曲。   

to music：发给…谱曲
例如：Give me a laundry list and I 'll set it to music.（把要洗的衣服交给我，我就会把它谱成曲子了。）
          Schubert set some of Geothe's lyrics to music.（舒伯特给歌德的一些抒情诗谱了曲。）

02月14日：The wind was moaning through the trees.风在树林中呼啸。    

：v. 呻吟，抱怨，诉冤；发出呼啸声
例如：I balled myself into a knot and moaned.（我把身子抱成一团，呻吟着。）
         He moaned out a sound and then closed his eyes.（他呻吟了一声，然后就闭上了眼睛。）

02月15日：Love is the great miracle cure. Loving ourselves works miracles in our lives.爱是一剂神奇的药，爱自己会让我们的生命出现奇迹。

02月17日：She patted the dog on the head.她轻轻地拍着狗的头。

例如：The mother patted the little girl to make her go to sleep.（母亲拍小女孩入睡。）
          My cat loves it when I pat her tummy.（我的猫非常喜欢我抚摸牠的肚皮。）
