01月21日：I'm just browsing.我只是随便看看。  

：v. 随便看看；浏览；牛羊等吃草
例如： I had a browse through the books on her shelf.（我浏览了一下她书架上的书。）
           The cattle browse the meadow.（牛群在草原上吃草。）

01月22日：Could you turn off my computer?你能不能关掉我的电脑？ 

off：关掉，避开，使厌烦，变成
例如：Turn off the lights when you go out of the room.（离开房间时关上灯。）
          That fellow 's manner really turn me off.（那家伙的举止真叫多厌烦。）

01月23日：I am off to bed right now.我要上床去睡觉了。 

to bed：去睡觉，上床休息
例如：The children were seen off to bed by their mother.（孩子们由他们的妈妈送上床睡了。）
          We then shrugged and went off to bed.（我们觉得莫名其妙，便耸耸肩膀又上床睡觉了。）

01月24日：We dined on lobster and strawberries.我们晚饭吃了龙虾和草莓。  

on：（在进餐时）吃
例如：How pleasant it is to dine on Chinese food! （吃上中餐是多么令人愉快啊！）
          We dined on smoked salmon.（我们晚餐吃的是熏鱼。）

01月25日：He has a very unusual name.他有一个很特别的名字。    

l：adj. 不寻常的；与众不同的的
例如：It's quite unusual for it to be cool here in June.（6月份这里这么凉快是很难得的。）
          The old lady received him with unusual warmth.（老夫人以前所未有的热情接待了他。）

01月26日：The cold was unbelievable.天气冷极了。   

evable：adj. 难以置信的
例如：It's really unbelievable that some man can even marry a law-down dirty shame like her.（有人竟然和像他那样不知羞耻的人结婚，真是不可思议。）
          The subtlety of color is absolutely unbelievable.（这色彩的精美是令人难以置信的。）

01月27日：You are way off beam there.你在那点上大错特错了。  

off：有很大距离，错得厉害
例如：Carl was way off the track though we advised him again and again.（虽然我们一再劝告卡尔，他还是误入歧途。）
          The shot was way off target.（这次射得远离目标。）
