About the Author

She holds a BA degree in literature from Stanford University, an MA from Stanford in Russian & East European Studies, and an MBA from Cornell. She speaks several foreign languages. Her writing has appeared in many national magazines and newspapers, including MAD Magazine, Family Circle, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
